Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer (Java/SQL) with 7+ years of experience in Java and SQL database development. The successful candidate will be responsible for backend application development, database design and optimization, microservices, data security and database administration. Experience in the Oil & Gas or Landmark domain will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend applications using Java.
Design, develop and optimize SQL database solutions.
Develop and maintain microservices-based applications.
Write and optimize stored procedures and complex SQL queries.
Perform database design, performance tuning and query optimization.
Support database backup and recovery processes.
Implement appropriate data security and access controls.
Troubleshoot application and database performance issues.
Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure and business teams.
Maintain technical documentation and development standards.
Support project requirements and production environments.
